Slow motion gets me emotional.

It always happens to me, slow motion give me a nice perspective to everything, a time to think and see everything. But sometimes, when timing get mixed between slow motion and fast motion (i don't know if that's how you call it), it just look overwhelming. I saw this site a couple days ago, and all I've got to say is that those billboards are beautiful and the typography is rad. And he has also made out of this billboards, awesome iphone wallpapers.

New video directed by Fleur & Manu. Its a fun video to watch, but beyond that, its just awesome how the show regular human behavior and relationships with a cute ape going too human.

Social ad for child poverty in India.

So, in the past days i saw this amazing ambient advert titled Cloth Donation 3. This campaign was released in October 2010, and it was done by Mudra DDB in India. The piece consisted in sculptures of naked children inside a transparent box with a sign calling people to donate clothes for poor kids in India. They expected to collect about 1000 pieces of clothing, but for the strength of this piece they got over 5000.

The realism of the sculptures is outstanding, and the execution flawless.

Somewhere, la nueva película de Sofia Coppola.

La nueva película de esta joven directora, se estrenó ayer 22 de diciembre en Estados Unidos, aunque su estreno en Italia fue el 3 de Septiembre esperamos que en algún momento llegue a las salas colombianas. Es mucha la expectativa que se tiene por esta película ya que sus 3 películas, Las virgenes suicidas, Perdidos en Tokio y Maria Antonieta han impresionado al público tanto por el contenido de sus historias, como por la gran dirección de arte que siempre nos deja con la boca abierta. Este film que cuenta con la actuación de Stephen Dorff y Elle Fanning, ya ha ganado, entre otros, el premio como mejor película en el festival de Venecia.

Hay dos cosas de las cuales hay que estar muy pendientes en este film, uno la aparición de Chris Pontius (famosa estrella de Jackass) como uno de los actores principales, y la musicalización de la película a cargo de Phoenix, cuyo cantante Thomas Mars es pareja de la directora y han tenido ya dos hijas.

Sylvia Ji. Female death sensuality.

I know this artist has been in the spotlight for a long time, but i had to review her and show some of her work.

I remember the first time i read about Sylvia's Ji work was back in 2007 in a juxtapoz magazine, the cover of that magazine was made by Mike Giant, but her work impressed me more than anything else in that issue.

The work of this Californian girl is heavily influenced by female sensuality, tribal connections and deep eye expression, but my favorites will always be the pieces charged with color red and Mexican death make up women.

Luces, acción, diversión y mucho entretenimiento, exactamente lo que nosotros queremos ver este 25 de diciembre en el estreno más esperado del año. ECO PACKAGING FOR PUMA.

Yves Behar, swiss designer and founder of Fuse Project was commissioned to create a sustainable packaging for sports brand PUMA. The result is the CLEVER LITTLE BAG. Watch the video that summarizes the 21 months they spent on the creation of this amazing eco packaging.

SCISSOR SISTERS - INVISIBLE LIGHT VIDEO.

What happens when LSD, meets sexuality and religion? The answer was given to us by Spanish director Nicolás Méndez, in this amazing video for the song invisible light.

Trigger Happy Hands. New Placebo video.

Lots of Placebo fans have changed their mind about the band and music, thinking that they have become too pop, to soft and cheesy. If you are one of those fans, watch this video and give them a second shoot.

Trigger Happy Hands, is the 10 minute shortfilm/video for this song directed by Andreas Nilsson, who has also worked for bands like Bonde do Role, José Gonzalez, White Lies and MGMT among many others.

The video has a 5 minute intro, has lots of happy and unhappy clowns claiming revenge for being bullied by regular humans, it has a neat gore, fucked up scene, and lots of suffering. In a few words, a video totally worth to watch. Enjoy.

Here We Go Magic - Casual Video.

Awesome trippy, creepy video directed by Peking for Casual, the first single of the album Pigeons for the indie rock band Here We Go Magic.

This is the kinda video i really enjoy, a slow, mellow song, with visuals of an ER's waiting room, pain, sweat and suffering, blood and a freaky character giving birth to an adult male between the happiness of ray lights.



There's also a happy hippie performance they made for Pitchfork.

Kitchen revival.

All my life i have wanted to cook the perfect breakfast, toast or waffles, awesome eggs and a berry smoothie. Unfortunately, for me, i suck at cooking. But, for sure, if i get these couple of extra hands in my kitchen, i might not be the greatest chef, but everything would look way much better.


First, the corona-matic, created by Chris Dimino as part of a project that involved bringing new life into a useless product by giving it another purpose, is not a real product, but for sure if someone produces it, it would sell thousands of them.

Second, i never thought i would of blog anything from Israel, but here it is some really cool gadget. Studio Ve is a design studio from Israel, and they came up with the Toast-ER, an amazing fun way to make your toasts every morning, keep em alive.

Illusion table by Essey.

European based design firm essey came up with this amazing table, that gives you the illusion that there is a cloth on a round table, but the piece is just made of 3mm acrylic folded handmade that gives you this false impression. I think that even tho its an awesome table it would look way much better at the store, or at the bar, than at home. Also keep an eye on the bin bin at their website.

FANG ISLAND. The band that sound as "everyone high-fiving everyone".

Its been a couple days since I've heard for the first time this American indie Rock band from New York, Fang Island. I haven't heard a whole album yet, but for sure its gonna make your day way much better, for me it is just happy progressive music based on the purity of their sound. Vocals are just used when its strictly necessary. Check this videos, and laugh you ass off in the minute 2:06 of the kindergaden gig.

Common Good is a Canadian based visual collective conformed by Anthony Burns, Jamie Webster and Eric Makila. They have created over 100 spots for MTV Canada. Check this new spots they've created for them. All of these spots are filled with happiness, awesome environments, and a daft punk related character.

El Guincho y su buen video Bombay.

Nunca había oido de esta banda española llamada El Guincho, pero por casualidad di con Bombay y la canción me encantó desde el comienzo. Pero algo que no pude hacer, fue apartar los ojos de tan extraño, bizarro y visualmente adorable video. Supongo que si se analiza se pueden encontrar distintas "lecturas" para estas imagenes. Yo la verdad prefiero desconectarme y disfrutarlo sin mucho trascendetalismo al respecto.

This dutch guy is one of the best photographers ive seen lately. Ruud Baan has the perfect eye for this, everything in his work is marketable, has a great sense of fashion and use of color. Definitely something worth it to admire.

The Holidays - Broken Bones video.

Sometimes is really nice when you feel tired of the same beats and music, and all of the sudden you find a new emerging band that sounds perfect for your crisis. This is what happened to me with the song Broken Bones from The Holidays, a new emerging indie australian band that has got my attention, the song is included in their debut album Post Paradise, that i gotta find and dig in.

The video is filled with beautiful, slow and strong images. Hot and cold references everywhere perfectly mixed, and the best of it all, the amazing furniture they used for the synth. Its the perfect song and video for a quiet sunday night.
